It seems the rains have taken a holiday in honor of our annual Seersucker Social. After gathering at The Spindle around one o'clock, riders will depart for a leisurely city tour at two o'clock. As ever, their destination will be Oakland Cemetery for a picnic by the sleeping lion. See you there!

The best fashion show is definitely on the street. Always has been. Always will be, quoth Bill Cunningham, and was chosen by the editors of Momentum Magazine to introduce their feature, 'Global Bike Style On The Street'. Their choices celebrate humanity via the daily lives of people who ride bikes. Memorable folk from Nepal, Havanna, Mexico City, Tokyo, Toronto, and, yes, Atlanta, grace as many pages.
As part of a nationwide survey, People For Bikes has asked local cycling advocates to select prominent spots for counting ridership on third Thursdays monthly between 4:30 and 5:30. For us that would be the Tenth Street cycle track, where these folks were seen last week. The August theme was kids and we sent them some cuties.
