Streets Alive Sunday

IMG_1775.CR2 IMG_1128 IMG_1086 Amazing things happen when people take over the streets. Aren't you glad to live where we do so frequently? This Sunday afternoon 2.7 miles of Peachtree Street from Edgewood Avenue to 17th Street becomes the scene of all manner of fun. As ever, the event opens with a bicycle parade. Wear your Halloween best, and join the parade. Line up at 17th Street begins at 1:30. There will be bike decorations for the first 50 cyclists. Streets Alive is an initiative of the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition.

Atlanta Streets Alive Today

Today between 4 and 8 pm, 2.7 miles of Peachtree Street from South Downtown to Ansley Park becomes the scene of all manner of fun. As ever, the event opens with a bicycle parade. Decorate your wheels in stripes at the 3:30 pm 17th Street line up. Streets Alive is an initiative of the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition.

Streets Alive This Sunday

IMG_3516 IMG_3519 The fun resumes Sunday at 2pm, when three miles of Peachtree Street from MLK Drive to 17th Street become a pedestrian paradise until 6pm. New for this event will be a service of the upcoming Atlanta Cycling Festival, It's a bike wash, YEAH!
Like her shiny spokes and forks? You, too, can have such a clean machine. Just bring your ride to Villains Wicked Heroes, 903 Peachtree Street. Your donation will support a week-long celebration of all things bicycle June 7-14.
