Of Bicycles And Airstream Trailers, Part I
The search for a portrait setting at the Heels On Wheels ride today found this vintage Airstream trailer, the travelling home of Small Room Collective. Lauren and Travis have brought their treasures to Church Street, Decatur for the weekend. Look for them next to the Victory Sandwich Shop. The graphic on the trailer's number plate is not wishful thinking. It commemorates French racing cyclist Alfred LeTourneur, who towed an Airstream trailer at Metropolitan Airport in Van Nuys, California in 1947.

Cyclofemme 2014
The noble sentiment, Never Give Up, here realized by Living Walls muralist Eme, gains a poignant dimension this damp morning of Streets Alive. While Cyclofemme riders enjoyed clear skies last Sunday for their tour East Atlanta and Kirkwood, Peachtree Street is ours today, rain or shine. See you there!

Happy Mother's Day
Was it two summers ago that Christina and her parasol found me in Little Five Points? How the time flies. Now she has blog of her own called Sunday, not to mention two adorable daughters. Yesterday afternoon we defied the promise of thunderstorms and were rewarded with an adventure on two wheels.
