Heels On Wheels: Bike America
Winner of the 2013 Alliance National Graduate Playwriting Competition, Bike America tells the story of restless millennial generation riders on a cross-country road trip. Before Saturday's matinée, the ladies of Heels On Wheels explored the Northside BeltLine through Tanyard Creek Park. If bonding over bikes appeals to you, have a look at their facebook group page.

In Oakland Cemetery: A Vintage Vélo
The joyful cry of Alleluia becomes a most elegant French bicycle. This example was found in that repository of vintage goodness, Paris On Ponce. It rolls on 650B wheels and uses a derailleur to select from three ratios. He added blinkies and a red bell from the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition.

Street Scene: At The Skate Park
Shopping online found the dress on eBay and belt from an Etsy crafter. Her great great aunt once wore the scarf and there is dust from Burning Man on those boots. That she caught my attention once before comes as no surprise.

At Ponce City Market
What a weekend for stylish cycling in Atlanta, beginning with Friday's Blinkie Awards & ABC Members' Night at Ponce City Market. Everyone was in high spirits following the city council vote to fund $2.5 million worth of bicycle infrastructure this year and Mayor Kasim Reed won the prize for Bike-Friendly Elected Official. For more winners, please follow this link to the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition blog. Both Patricia Heys and I took party pictures. It was that well attended! Look for yourselves here and here.
Spring-like weather Saturday and Sunday brought crowds to the BeltLine and Piedmont Park. Great fun it was to salute friends old and new. Those seven portraits will be posted in the rainy days to come.
