#EverydayBiking Count Thursday
See and be seen this Thursday afternoon in Piedmont Park, when
Heels On Wheels takes to the streets once again. More than good fun, this ride should raise Atlanta's profile in the national People For Bikes #EverydayBiking challenge. Riders will gather at 4:30 by the park gate where Charles Allen Drive meets Tenth Street. After a turn or two through the cycle track, they will follow the BeltLine and PATH to
Little Five Points for refreshments at The Porter. Rsvp on facebook.

Atlanta Cycling Festival: Act I
Cruising for three years on a small sailboat tests ones ingenuity and perseverance. The Bicycle Wrap Skirt from Feather and Fin is the fruit of such experience. A row of hidden snaps on the hem prevent fly-up and two removable straps keep it clear of the wheel. This elegant cycling solution is made from a comfy blend of linen and cotton, features one deep pocket and a clever envelope pouch on the waist just right for a telephone. Now fully funded by Kickstarter, the first production should be realized in August. Reserve yours here.

Pints For Parks This Tuesday
Sometimes called a city's lungs, parks relieve urban tensions with recreation, reflection and resplendent natural beauty. How compelling would this image of Midtown be without the tree canopy of Piedmont Park? This Tuesday, show some love for Atlanta's green spaces by attending Pints For Parks. This annual fundraiser benefits the Park Pride Volunteer Program, which annually coordinates some 17,000 hours of service among our parks. You have already seen the fruits this good work, so come to Orpheus Brewing for the party. Tickets are only $30 and get you a tour of the microbrewery, tastings and tasty bites from Craft Izakaya, Fred's Meat & Bread, H. Harper Station, Rathbun's and Yalla. The fun begins at 6 pm, but this being the week of Atlanta Cycling Festival, there will be a group ride to Orpheus leaving from Woodruff Park at 5:45. See you there!
